Vista Paint, based in Southern California, began over forty (40) years ago when Eddie Fischer joined chemist Walt Jacobson in his small paint store in Garden Grove. Their first batch of paint produced was a concrete coating called "Kolor Kote". Within a year a second store and factory were opened in Placentia. Rudimentary manufacturing equipment was used to mix the paint. One person operated the factory and the store at the same time. The partners soon realized that to be successful they would need to make a broader line of paint. As result, in 1959, the Garden Grove store was sold, and the Placentia store and factory moved to a larger building in Stanton.Vista Paint Corporation Address
