Østensjø Rederi is a private company established in 1974 by the sole owner Johannes Østensjø. The company has since its beginning been a leading provider of offshore and towage services world wide. It operates a fleet of 28 modern vessels, including 19 tugs/mooring vessels, 8 offshore service vessels and one accommodation vessel. Furthermore, Østensjø has 9 vessels on order with a total value of NOK 4 billion. The greatest asset in the company are the people who work here. More than 550 highly skilled employees work on board and onshore. The main office is located in Haugesund on the South west coast of Norway, but branch offices can be found in Norway, UK, Ireland and Malta. The company`s ships can be found world wide.
