FINDERS, KEEPERS: Nova Employment places people with disabilities into employment. But that's just part of our job. Once we find our jobseekers a position, we help them keep it. We know that enjoying your job is good for you so we aim to sustain people through meaningful work. We do this by: - getting to know our jobseekers - discovering the roles they might enjoy - training & coaching jobseekers to be job ready - sourcing suitable roles and employers - maintaining a pool of interested employers - guiding the jobseeker through the first days, weeks, months, of their new position - supporting them and their employer for as long as they need it. SELF SERVICE: Our staff are connected to the best international research, discussions, ideas, models and people in the field of disability employment. We invest in staff training so that we can provide the products and services jobseekers have come to expect from Nova Employment. In a nutshell our comprehensive staff training includes: - formal training to at least Certificate IV standard. - support for further training; some have completed tertiary studies - at least one full week's formal in-house training per year. FULL OF HOPE: It's not hard to be committed at NOVA. We're inspired by the jobseekers with whom we work. They're full of possibility and hope. We've been placing people with disabilities into lasting employment since 1990 and we still get a buzz out it. This is why NOVA works. Staff training - formal, informal & on-the-job, International connections - we're trained by experts in the field such as Professor Carol Schall, Dale DiLeo & Stephen Polkington, 5000 businesses have used our services.
