An American made company since 1878, RIX Industries manufactures a wide range of custom-built reciprocating piston compressors for industrial gases and breathing air. We specialize in oil-free, high pressure pneumatic technology. Our compressors range from under 1 HP (0.75 kW) to 500 HP (375 kW), and from pressures of 50 PSIG (3 bar) to 6,000 PSIG (415 bar). Our designs are compact, v-type or vertical, and can be supplied either as bare units or packaged per customer requirements. At RIX, we have built a long-standing foundation of stability through years of experience of upholding innovative industry excellence. RIX maximizes on innovation by continuously introducing new products with improved technologies. With most of our sales coming from repeat customers, our reputation as the leader of innovative compressor design and manufacturing speaks for itself. Our markets include industrial gas companies, refineries and chemical plants, offshore oil platforms, commercial diving, OEM's, SCUBA tank filling, and Government Agencies. Although we have a number of standard compressor products, we routinely supply units to customers with unique, custom applications.
