CueThink is a Boston Ed Tech startup company with a team of dynamic and passionate educators, developers and designers. Both an application and a pedagogy, CueThink improves critical thinking skills and math collaboration for students in grades 2-12. Its methodology is based on renowned mathematician George Pólya's four phases of problem solving. CueThink provides a consistent language and problem solving structure across grades for students to excel on new performance-based assessments. We employ a team of professional math educators who train teachers on effective implementation of rigorous tasks and review of student work to improve problem solving pedagogy. In addition to CueThink, our brand new CueTeach 1.0 features enhance teacher planning and assessment of student work. Features include interactive tools to support task selection, rubrics to evaluate student thinklets and actionable data to drive instruction. The National Science Foundation recognized our innovation and has supported us with two Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants. We are also a NewSchools Ignite portfolio company. NEW!!
