Prime Care Coordination began as a means to prepare for the shift to care coordination and managed care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through the collaboration of providers in local communities, an Article 44 license was obtained and iCircle was created, providing services to anyone needing Medicaid Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) services. After nearly two years of providing managed care services, Prime Care Coordination was launched to assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with managed care and care coordination, utilizing the same experiences that enabled iCircle to be successful.
