Laser Pros International, (LPI), was formed in 1990 by company president Steve Spencer. Steve had been working at Prototype Design, a company that made one part, a fuser roller, for the original LaserJet printer. It was there that he first conceived Laser Pros International, a company that would quickly grow to one of the worlds largest suppliers of laser printer parts and accessories, something for which there was a growing demand. Initially, Steve operated the business out of his home. In May of 1992, Steve moved LPI into its first location, a 500 sq. ft. building in Madison, Wisconsin. During this growth, Steve added Laser Pros Technical Support to better meet the needs of LPI customers. In September of 1993, LPI had grown to where it needed more space, prompting the company to make its next move. The facility provided 4,000 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space, a significant move for the young company. Then, in January of 1996, having outgrown the second location, LPI moved to yet a larger facility located in Oregon, WI. This facility provided 10,000 sq. ft. of space for Laser Pros International to continue its onward growth. LPI expanded again in the spring of 1998. This time in the form of a brand new building which serves as corporate headquarters and main distribution center. The current 40,000 sq. ft. facility is located just outside of Rhinelander, WI. The latest move and continual expansion reflects not only Laser Pros' outstanding growth, but also the Spencer's desire to return to their home community.Laser Pros International Corp Address
