Welcome to Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Arlington, VA!
The word Emmanuel means God With Us, the extraordinary promise that there is no person, place or context beyond the presence of God. "Emmanuel" also has the same meaning and pronunciation in virtually every language on earth—a beautiful indication that the gospel is for all of us, equally. Regardless of who we are, where we come from, or what we’ve done, we are all freely invited to experience the nearness of God in our life and worship.
Emmanuel Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a denomination committed to the historic truths of Scripture and the relevance of the gospel in everyday life.
At Emmanuel, we offer different ways to connect people from different backgrounds. We recognize that we all have different cultures, but we also recognize that our identity as God’s image bearers unites us, no matter where we are coming from. The Latino/Hispanic community is very diverse; therefore, all are welcome to participate. There are some Hispanic people who are bilingual or monolingual, and some Americans that speak Spanish. We have weekly services with sermons simultaneously translated. We have a Community Group in which we study the Bible in Spanish. It is a great opportunity to know each other better and grow together in the Lord.
We invite you to join us Sundays at 10:30am at Rivendell School, 2410 N. Kensington St., Arlington, VA 22207.
