The Stanley Engineering Company was founded in 1983 as a computerized numerical control oriented precision machine shop. We are located in the Glen Burnie Business Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. We are housed in over 20,000 square feet of space and employ approximately 40 people. Our annual sales volume is approximately $4,000,000. The founder of the Company, Ken Stanley, is a 1970 graduate of the University of Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He has been involved in the precision machining industry for over 30 years. The Company is staffed with many other individuals with extensive experience in the programming, set-up, and operation of our state of the art computers and CNC equipment. We are equipped to handle small prototype projects as well as large production runs. We have been awarded contracts as large as $1,000,000. We have extensive assembly capabilities and welcome the opportunity to provide higher level assembly/sub-assembly products. Our capabilities include 4 and 5 axis machining of complex aerospace shapes. We are able to electronically import data files from most any CAD system and produce and inspect them from the imported electronic data.
