Elwyn Inc, formerly called Elwyn Institute is a non-profit human services organization for people with special challenges. Elwyn began in 1852 as a school for children with mental retardation located on a 400 - acre rural site outside of Media, Pa. Since that time, Elwyn has grown to a multi-site human services organization serving children and adults with all types of challenges, including developmental, physical and emotional disabilities, as well as those with disadvantages.
