Bill Barrett, which was formed in 2002 by former managers of Barrett Resources (which was acquired by The Williams Companies in 2001), holds more than 971,000 net undeveloped leasehold acres. The oil and gas firm has 553 net producing wells. Bill Barrett has estimated net proved reserves of 292.3 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent. The company went public in 2004.
