n 1999, Polaris Wireless was founded by Silicon Valley visionaries who invented, developed, and patented the high accuracy, software-based Wireless Location Signatures (Polaris WLS™) location technology. After successfully performing multiple field trials of Polaris WLS in the US and Europe, Polaris Wireless was awarded its first public safety contract with SunCom (now part of T-Mobile USA) in 2003.
