Beacon College Prep Inc. is an independently managed non-profit organization authorized to operate tuition- free public charter schools for students in Miami-Dade. The school was founded in 2014 with 100 students and ten staff members in three retrofitted portable classrooms in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood. Â We've since grown to a school with over 400 students, thirty-five staff members, and one promise: to provide a first-class educational experience for elementary students living in Liberty City and Opa Locka. Â We strive each day to deliver on that promise and prepare our students for the rigors of life. Â By challenging them academically, fostering admirable character traits, and cultivating their talents and interests, we work proudly in service of our mission and on behalf of students who deserve the world.
