The Wickenburg Unified School District spans from just north of the Yavapai County line on the north end down to Bell Road in Buckeye at its southern border.
Four of the district’s schools are located in the Town of Wickenburg, about 50 miles northwest of Phoenix. Wickenburg is a beautiful area known for its rolling hills that sit at the base of the Bradshaw Mountains.
Festival Foothills Elementary School (grades K-8) is on the southern boundary of the district in the Festival Ranch community located in Buckeye, ten miles west of Surprise. The community is just north of the White Tank Mountains, which stand around 4,000 feet in elevation.

Our district serves roughly 1550 students in grades Pre-K - 12 from an area of approximately 916 square miles and over 13,000 residents from La Paz, Maricopa and Yavapai Counties. The District employs roughly 200 people.
Our vision serves as our guide. These core values shape our decisions and direction. We are Wickenburg Unified School District No. 9. We are located in Wickenburg, Arizona, whose population of 10,000 provides us with a small town atmosphere and a safe and scenic setting in which to educate our students.
We offer a full academic program, serving preschool through 12th grades.
