Meydenbauer Center is owned and operated by the Bellevue Convention Center Authority ("Authority"), a public development authority chartered by the City of Bellevue. The Authority was organized pursuant to the Revised Code of Washington 35.21.730 et seq. The Authority was created in December, 1989, and has a seven-member board appointed by the City Manager with the concurrence of the City Council.
