Welcome to Alpenglow Expeditions! For nearly a decade, the AMGA mountain guides at Alpenglow have provided the highest caliber of mountaineering, trekking, climbing and skiing expeditions. Providing opportunities to climb mountains from Kilimanjaro to Everest, Alpenglow Expeditions offers a wide range of climbs for every level of aspiring mountaineer. Every Alpenglow expedition is focused on a small group with guide to client ratios that allow for the teaching of mountaineering skills, safety and education in the big mountains. All Alpenglow expeditions and climbs are led by AMGA/IFMGA certified guides. The AMGA/IFMGA certification is an internationally recognized mountaineering certification that is considered the highest credential attainable by a mountain guide. There are approximately 75 AMGA/IFMGA Certified Mountain Guides in the USA, all of whom represent the apex of American mountain guiding. Alpenglow Expeditions is the first major guide service in the US to require this certification from our lead guides. When you sign up for an Alpenglow expedition, you are not just tagging a summit and heading home; we have spent over a decade in each of the locations we offer expeditions. Our logistics for travel are at the highest level in the guiding industry.
