Willing Hands’ mission is to reduce food waste, alleviate hunger, and improve health of individuals facing food insecurity in the Upper Valley. Since 2004, Willing Hands has distributed over 5 million pounds of fresh perishable food to partner organizations serving those in need.
We grow, glean and recover fresh perishable food - primarily fruits and vegetables from local grocers, wholesalers, bakeries and farms - and distribute it to 60 partner organizations like food shelves, community meal sites, child and family support services, senior centers, low-income housing facilities and other organizations that share our mission to help people facing food insecurity. Volunteers are a vital part of our work.
