Founded in 1864, St. Louis College of Pharmacy consistently graduates one of the largest classes of new pharmacists in the nation. The College admits students directly from high school, and the six-year curriculum integrates the liberal arts and sciences with a professional program leading to a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. The College offers a full student-life experience, including nearly 50 student organizations and intercollegiate athletics. More than 1,200 students from 25 states are currently enrolled at the College.
St. Louis College of Pharmacy's 6,559 living alumni live in all 50 states and 13 different countries. Approximately 72% of St. Louis-area pharmacists are STLCOP graduates.
