In October of 2001, Bank of America donated over 1200 square feet of office space that would become the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's new home. This space also houses the VHCC's Resource Center, opened in November 2002. The Resource Center provides much-needed information to the Hispanic community itself, and to those interested in catering to the Hispanic market or benefiting from the Hispanic workforce. Its cornerstone is the first bilingual Business Information Center in the country -- a gift from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Today, the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce continues to grow and serve the Virginia community. Membership is currently being solicited to advance the goals of the VHCC.
