Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South was formed in 2019 through the merger of the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton (founded in 1990) and the Boys & Girls Club of Taunton (founded in 1902) in order to maximize our impacts in each respective community and bridge service gaps in our region. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is fueled by a mission "to nurture strong minds, healthy bodies, and community spirit through youth-driven, quality programming in safe and fun environments" to ensure that every child has a positive place to spend their out-of-school-time hours. We hold an intrinsic belief that every child deserves an equal chance to pursue the American Dream, to have a genuine opportunity to realize their full potential – to achieve a Great Future. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is guided by our vision to ensure the greatest possible impact of our programs on the long-term positive trajectories of our members’ lives.
