NGS Global is the first global search firm to tie performance into our fee structure. More specifically, we charge one-third of the professional fee at the start of the search, but only send the second invoice after the client has agreed to interview (at least) three qualified candidates. The third and final invoice is only sent after the chosen candidate accepts the position. To us, it is unacceptable to invoice the professional fee at intervals of 30 and 60 days after a search is started regardless of performance, which is the way that bulge-bracket search firms still operate.
