Southern Rural Water manages rural water across the southern half of Victoria from the Great Divide to the coast and to the South Australian border in the west and the NSW border in the east.
We have more than 170 staff based in offices across the state from Bairnsdale, Maffra, Morwell and Hallam in the east, Ringwood in Melbourne and Werribee, Ballarat, Warrnambool, Colac and Hamilton in the west.

We supply water to support agricultural production, electricity generation, country towns and cities, and rural and urban businesses. Our revenue is approximately $34 million per year and we have assets valued at around $1.25 billion. We proudly service more than 10,000 customers as a not-for-profit water corporation, accountable to the Victorian Minister for Water and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).
