Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Established in 1983 as a not-for-profit organization, the Manchester Community Music School provides quality instruction and performance opportunities for students of all ages. In a teaching environment dedicated to enhancing the student's enjoyment and appreciation of music, each student is valued as an individual and receives support appropriate to their specific needs and goals. Our talented faculty makes learning enjoyable. Faculty members are dedicated to developing the musician within each student through caring and personal instruction. Each student is placed with an instructor based on teaching and learning styles, and all students are given the same quality of instruction, maintaining the high standards for which the school has become known. The School, located in historic north Manchester, is home to over 50 of New England's finest music educators and over 1,200 students who travel throughout the year from 65 New Hampshire communities for their studies. As a cultural center, we offer programs in an environment that encourages participation, interaction and enjoyment. We are dedicated to supporting the artistic development of the community through our programs, and our classes are open to all, regardless of age, race, national origin, physical challenges or ability to pay. MCMS is a full member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts and a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
