About
Bartercard is the world’s largest trade exchange. It offers a barter-trading system for businesses to exchange goods and services within a global community. Bartercard enables SMEs to use Trade Pounds to pay for the exchange of goods and services as part of a global network of businesses.\n\nAssuming your current cash business is covering your fixed expenses and you have the capacity to take on new business, the only cost to you in supplying a Bartercard member is the replacement of the goods. This means that when you make a purchase using Trade Pounds you are effectively getting a discount equal to your Gross Profit Margin.\n\nIt can also help businesses:\n• gain new customers\n• improve cash flow\n• expand distribution channels\n• move excess stock and idle inventory\n• enhance productivity\n• increase profits\n\nMembers receive an interest-free line of credit geared to their business turnover, which allows them to make purchases upon joining. It allows members to continue growing their business when cash flow may have slowed down but without incurring interest or borrowing fees. Members then repay the credit they spend by providing their own goods and services to the network. For tax and accountancy purposes: 1 Trade Pound = £ 1 Pound.\n\nBartercard is free to join and offers three membership options. Each option involves a cash and Trade Pound monthly fee along with a small commission on every transaction. In return, Bartercard offers many benefits such as access to over 50,000 fellow global cardholders, use of the Bartercard mobile application and free networking events.\n\nGlobally, Bartercard operates in 9 countries.
