Founded in 1980, the company began life as a scenery fabrication shop with five employees in a modest production facility in upstate New York. More than 300 Broadway productions later, Hudson Scenic is a leader in scenery fabrication and mechanization, with a 72,000 square foot facility that provides state-of-the-art engineering, construction, scenic art, automation, and related services to all areas of the entertainment industry. In 2004, Hudson Scenic Studio, Inc. made a natural extension into the business of theatrical lighting. This expansion required the creation of a new company, called Hudson Sound & Light LLC. Hudson has built a reputation for quality products, timely deliveries, corporate integrity, and commitment to our clients.
