Centenary is a community of faith that seeks to worship God. We believe that the Bible is our guide for our faith and practice, and that God has provided a way for people to have a relationship with Himself through the person of Jesus Christ.
Centenary is a United Methodist congregation in the Wesleyan tradition. That is, we believe that God desires all people to come into a relationship with God through Christ. As Wesleyans, we interpret the Bible in light of relationships. Our mission statement reflects our emphasis on relationships: "To strengthen and transform lives by living and sharing Christ's love." This is grounded in the New Testament words of Jesus who said in Matthew 25:37-39, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." And, "Love your neighbor as yourself."
Centenary offers multiple opportunities for Bible study and life in the community with other Christians.
Sunday School small groups meet at 10:00 a.m. and are available for all ages.
We have two Sunday morning worship services, the traditional service meets at 11:15 a.m. and a more contemporary service is offered at 9.00 a.m.
