Union Sanborn School educates about 270 students ranging from preschool to second grade. Two buildings were joined into one in 1995 to create Union Sanborn School. A new office complex and an open foyer were placed between both buildings to welcome students and parents. The Union portion of the building is about 100 years old. Its large classrooms are a pleasure to teach students in with well preserved oak accents, doors and cabinetry in full display. The Sanborn part of the building dates back to the 1960s and was recently renovated to include new windows and a great multipurpose room in which students eat lunch, participate in physical education and enjoy large group performances. The building has its own art room and music room, library and computer lab. All classrooms have computers, connection to the web and technology to support student learning.
