About
They’re called different things in different places. In America, they’re called neighborhood taverns or more affectionately — “joints.” On the British Isles, they’re referred to as corner pubs. The food and winecentric French call them bistros. Such establishments were essential to the neighborhoods fortunate enough to have them. They became the stuff of everyday life and sometimes of national renown. Sitcoms have been centered around them, and delicacies like buffalo wings and potato skins were invented in their unpretentious kitchens. It was from this rich tradition that the Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern was born. The foundation of this wildly successful concept was a good measure of good old American tavern. The “across-the-pond” Pub and Bistro were then stirred in for flavor. The rustic mix was then refined for 21st century tastes with a heap of modern-day kid/family friendliness and approachability, and just a splash of sports bar.The result? A neighborhood tavern that becomes the default choice for any occasion that involves food and drink — any night of the week. Impromptu family dinners. Big business lunches. Kid’s birthdays. A place to gather before the big high school game. Or, a place to hang out to watch the big game on TV. We've cornered the market on the corner tavern.
