New England Wire Technologies has provided services to the superconducting industry since the 1960's. Cabling and insulating are just a few of the services provided. NEEWC's customers have included many of the U.S. National Laboratories, European Magnet Manufacturers, and US Commercial Magnet Manufacturers. We have products in most of the major accelerator projects, ore separator magnets, NMR magnets, and superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) magnets. We have experience with both low temperature and high temperature conductors. NEEWC is a worldwide leader in Rutherford cabling of superconducting wire. Some of the manufacturing capabilities include the ability to apply polyamide tape, fiberglass tape, fiberglass textile braids, extruded ETFE insulations, and engineered materials to all conductor configurations.
