ETC is a joint venture between URENCO and AREVA. Our main goal is to safely deliver operating uranium enrichment plants to our customers. In these facilities, our unique ultra gas centrifuge technology is used to enrich natural uranium for energy generation in nuclear power plants. In 2011 ETC began a initiative to capitalise on our key competences and knowledge we have gained over decades operating in a demanding high-technology environment. This initiative has resulted in the formation of new companies as EMS, Stornetic and TAVIRA. Enrichment Technology Our activities are the manufacture, supply and installation of ultra gas centrifuges, pipework, and R&D activities. We design uranium enrichment plants to the specific requirements of our customers and are able to provide project management for the construction of these facilities. EMS (http://ems-evolves.com) Engineering and Manufacturing Services (EMS) utilises ETC's core Engineering and Manufacturing competences for the aerospace, semiconductor and automotive industries. This includes both design engineering services as well as the manufacturing of products. STORNETIC (http://stornetic.com) The wheel cannot be reinvented. But the idea of the flywheel certainly can. Here at STORNETIC we are developing a flywheel energy storage device that can define efficiency in a new way.
