The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, was founded in 1962, and provides you with an excellent home and foundation for your legal education. We are dedicated to student-focused, experiential learning and are truly engaged with the community, in order to provide you with the best chance for a successful future. Memphis Law has been named as the Best Law School Building and Facilities in the nation (TWICE!) by preLaw Magazine. This location creates opportunities for externships and clerkships for Memphis Law students that NO OTHER law school in the state or region can offer.
