Family Promise of Morris County (FPMC) was created in 1988, in response to the growing number of homeless families in Morris County, NJ. We provide a continuum of programs and services to the community including shelter; a community support and outreach program, transitional housing for those impacted by domestic violence, a housing voucher program that consists of over 40 vouchers from various government sources, and a drop-in center in downtown Morristown. FPMC mobilizes community resources and people to end the crisis of homelessness faced by Morris County families and individuals; providing a continuum of services leading to self-sufficiency. Family Promise of Morris County is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization modeled after Family Promise (formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network) started in Union County in 1986.
