Founded in 1942, the business college at Texas Tech University was named the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration in 2000 after receiving a record $25 million gift from Tech alumnus, Jerry S. Rawls. The Rawls College is a leading research academic unit within a major comprehensive research university that offers 265 academic programs.
The college has six areas of study-- Accounting, Energy Commerce, Finance, Managment Information Systems, Management, and Marketing and Supply Chain Management--in addition to dual programs in conjunction with architecture, agriculture, foreign languages, law, medicine, and environmental toxicology.
