In the land of da Bulls and da Bears, there's DePaul. DePaul University is the largest Catholic university in the US, with more than 20,000 students attending classes at its eight Chicago-area campuses. The school offers some 130 degree programs through its eight undergraduate and nine graduate colleges and schools. DePaul is also home to the well-regarded Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Among DePaul's notable alumni are Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley, McDonald's chairman and CEO Jack Greenberg, and actor Gillian Anderson ("The X-Files"). DePaul was founded as St. Vincent College in 1898 by Vincentian Fathers.
