About
The Omaha Home for Boys was founded October 12, 1920 in Omaha, Neb., after the Chamber of Commerce recognized the need for a safe place to send orphaned, neglected and wayward boys within Omaha’s city limits. Today, the Omaha Home for Boys is comprised of three programs: Inspiration Hill Residential Care, Jacobs’ Place transitional living and Branching Out independent living. Each program is unique in its own way with the goal being reunification with families and development of productive citizens with a solid foundation to connect with their communities. Our mission is to support and strengthen youth, young adults and families through services that inspire and equip them to lead independent and productive lives.
