This represents the successful completion of a period that began in 1995 with the first external audit for a product group. In addition, the site at Albstadt-Ebingen has had environmental certification in line with ISO I4001 since March 2000. Groz-Beckert is persevering with its continuous optimisation of quality, among other things by extending its environmentally certified areas to locations abroad. Since the beginning of 2000, the Company has also become an important supplier to the weaving industry through its acquisition of Grob Horgen AG, Switzerland. The Raesfeld and Weseke sites are primarily engaged in the production and sale of weaving machine parts. Groz-Beckert KG, Albstadt takes over the company SMC, Siegfried Mayer GmbH & Co. KG, Heiningen as from October 10, 2006. By this take-over the Groz-Beckert Group gains a company, which complements the existing production program with its cylinder and dial production.
