About
The Dieback Working Group (DWG) was formed in 1996 by local government authorities, community groups and state government land management agencies concerned with the management of Phytophthora Dieback in Western Australia. \n\nOur key purpose is to minimise the spread and impact of Phytophthora Dieback in Australia through the provision of education, information, support, and advice; and through encouragement of the implementation of best practice policy and management by key stakeholders.\n\nWe also provide Green Card Training - industry recognised training for biosecurity hygiene. This training has been developed with inputs from scientists, Phytophthora industry specialists and the West Australian Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
