This followed a strategic review in 2014 which streamlined the Group's construction, mining and services operations, and established Thiess as a totally mining-focused business. Our international footprint now spans 24 mines across six countries with expertise in major commodities including: - Metallurgical and thermal coal - Iron ore - Copper - Nickel - Gold - Diamonds. Our experience comes from working with a range of clients in different countries and with varying pit sizes, complexities and conditions. In 2014 alone, we mined more than 120 million tonnes of coal and iron ore and 413 million BCM of overburden across our operations.
