Lista (originally known as Lienhard Steelworks) was founded in 1945 in Switzerland by Alfred Lienhard, father of current Lista chairman of the board, Fredy Lienhard. This venture initially manufactured a wide range of metal products such as garden furniture and motorbikes. It was in the 1950’s that Mr. Lienhard refocused his business on modular storage systems and eventually office furniture. Lista International Corp., founded in 1968, is autonomously managed and wholly owned subsidiary of Lista Holding AG. All products sold in North and South America are manufactured at the Lista International headquarters in Holliston, MA, pictured above.
