Our Vision: Transform Lives...One Person at a Time.
Our Mission: Feed those in need, house those experiencing homelessness, and empower individuals to achieve independence.
Our Programs:
Food Centre— Our Food Centre serves daily free, hot, nutritious meals to anyone who walks through our doors, no questions asked. It is the only public lunch program in Minneapolis open 7 days/week and 365 days/year. We typically feed 350 men, women and children each day.
Day by Day- An outpatient co-occurring chemical dependency & mental health treatment program open to adult men and women. Individual recovery plans are created to best serve each client. There are separate programs for men and women.
Transitional and Permanent Supportive Housing - We house 116 adult men and women at our residential building, 10 of whom are homeless veterans. We also have an additional 125 clients in their own apartments in the community through our partnership with Hennepin County's Housing First Program.
Case Management - Every housing client, including individuals in Housing First, have the opportunity to work with a Case Manager. Clients set goals for a better life and work toward them with a case manager as their advocate and guide. Client goals typically center on permanent housing, education, employment, family reunification, and improved relationships.
