Ford Foundation as one of the top independent school programs in the nation in 2009, when the Foundation awarded WT one of only four coveted Educational Leadership Grants. This accolade came on the heels of WT's designation as a Malone Scholars School by the Malone Family Foundation in 2007; WT was one of only three schools nationwide to be recognized with a $2 million endowment grant for its challenging programs for gifted and talented students and for a remarkable commitment to financial aid.
