My current position involves the improvement of student reading through: (1) working intensively with students who are reading three to five years below grade level, in a 1:1 or small group setting; (2) providing baseline reading assessments for new students and diagnostic assessments for students reading significantly below grade level; (3) data analysis and planning for instruction and intervention; and (4) resources and support to classroom teachers. In addition, I am the director of the after school Homework Club with an enrollment of 120 students out of 500 students in the school.
