Albedo is a YC-backed company building satellites that will capture optical imagery at a spatial resolution 9x higher than what is available today, along with simultaneously collected thermal infrared imagery. This novel dataset will enable commercial applications that, until now, have been limited due to the lack of affordability, timeliness, and spatial resolution required for the majority of EO applications.
