Land's Sake is a model for sustainable interactive natural resource management. We've been helping our community effectively utilize and learn from conservation land for over 25 years. We run Land's Sake Farm and manage over 1700 acres of highly fractured suburban forest. I work to help people open their eyes and hearts to the world around us. By maintaining the linkages between people and their environment through the food they eat, the natural resources they utilize and by physically getting out of the buildings and vehicles and away from the screens and telecommunications, my organization improves lives and improves the potential of our society on this planet. Our goals are to connect people with the land, appreciate ecology and natural history, maintain our agrarian and sylvan heritage, and help people lead more sustainable lifestyles.
