The responsibilities of London Probation Trust have been transferred to either the National Probation Service (London Directorate) or the London Community Rehabilitation Company. This change was made from 1 June 2014 as part of the Government's Transforming Rehabilitation programme. Previously, London Probation Trust (LPT) was responsible for managing over 40,000 offenders at any one given time.
