Honeylove is a San Francisco fashion startup founded by EDM artist, Betsie Larkin. After experiencing one too many shapewear malfunctions on stage during her career as a live vocal artist, Betsie started experimenting with solutions for the common shapewear mishaps like muffin top, the waistband rolling down and shapewear's tendency to flatten your bottom while attempting to flatten everything else. After making some early progress, she teamed up with with a Silicon Valley engineer and a couture fashion designer to perfect Honeylove's patent-pending shaping approach. This led to acceptance into YC Combinator and a subsequent seed round including some of the best known funds in Silicon Valley.
