Our team is leading the Muskrat Falls development in Newfoundland and Labrador. The project includes construction of an 824 megawatt hydroelectric generating facility on the lower Churchill River in Labrador, and more than 1,500km of associated transmission lines between Churchill Falls and the Avalon Peninsula. \r\n\r\nThe development of Muskrat Falls will power homes and businesses across Newfoundland and Labrador with clean, renewable energy for generations to come. This historic project is providing significant employment and business opportunities to Newfoundlanders and Labradorians during construction.\r\n\r\nConstruction on the project began in 2013 and is well underway in various locations across the province. First power is expected in late 2017.\r\n\r\nLower Churchill Management Corporation (LCP) is the Nalcor Energy subsidiary responsible for managing the construction of the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric generating facility, the Labrador Transmission Assets and the Labrador-Island Transmission Link.\r\n\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity in the workplace and encourage women, Aboriginal people, persons with disabilities, and visible minorities to express interest in employment with us.
