The agency’s main tasks are to inform, muster and enlist conscripts for military service and together with the Swedish Armed Forces staff the Swedish war organisation. In addition, our task is to register the personnel for the war organisation on behalf of other authorities, municipalities and regions. This support is central for the total defence of Sweden. We are also responsible for the entire admission process for the police education on behalf of the Swedish Police Authority, as well as the admission for the Officers Program on behalf of the Swedish Defence University. Christina Malm is Director General of the agency.
