KATC went on the air in the fall of 1962 as an affiliate of the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). Each week, more than 377,000 people tune into KATC-TV3 for local and national news, talk/variety and game shows, soap operas, information and entertainment, sports, movies, children’s, and public affairs programming.
