As a full fledged medical facility, New Horizon offers a wide variety of nutritional food plans including meal replacement plans (OPTIFAST) and FDA approved medications when necessary to help with the treatment of obesity. New Horizon is a provider for most major medical insurances and Medicare and is in the referral network with primary care, family practices, cardio-pulmonary and surgical weight loss specialists. New Horizon's services are complimentary for these practices. Most of our patients are referred by primary care doctors and other specialist. Many other patients are referred by successful friends and family members that are apart of our program. Under the medical director and supervisory physician, New Horizon's staff includes nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, nutrition counselors, weight loss coaches and fitness specialists.
